Unfortunately, replacing a car door cylinder can be quite difficult, since it requires at least partial removal of the door's interior panel in the majority of instances. This isn't something that most people will want to attempt on their own, since it can be extremely risky in the wrong way.
The lock cylinder needs to be removed from the handle. You'll need to locate the screw on the edge of the lock housing (usually upper right corner). It could be hidden beneath some plastic pieces or just barely visible. If you cannot locate it then use a screwdriver to remove the trim panels blocking your view of the screw. Then, use a pick or awl, or a small screwdriver to loosen the lock cylinder retaining tab and take the cylinder out of the housing.
After you have removed the cylinder, you'll need to take care of some things to prepare it for its use. The keyway should be cleaned to remove dirt and grease. The cylinder must be lubricated so that it does not stick in the lock. The easiest method of doing this is to use brake cleaner, which can clean and lubricate the lock's components of the cylinder. Once the cleaner is used then you can use a screwdriver remove the 10mm bolt that secures the handle to the housing of the cylinder.
Install the new cylinder, and then use the original key to operate it. It is best to purchase a cylinder with the same model and brand as your existing one. This will ensure that it fits properly and will provide a secure seal. Test the door after installation to confirm that the lock functions correctly and is closed securely.

You can also call an expert locksmith to repair the door cylinder. They'll be able match the new unit to the key you have already, so you can keep using the lock you have in your original.
The most common problem is that the cylinder will not rotate when you turn the key. This could be due to corrosion or dirt that has accumulated and is preventing the cylinder from moving freely. Door Lock Replacement

Make sure that your new deadbolts and latch plates are of the same length as originals, and that they're centered over the hole in the jamb. After all the components are in place and tightened, tighten the screws. Now you can check the latch and deadbolt with your key. If the key won't turn, you need to call an locksmith.
